Piedmont Quality Builders is founded on these principles. John McCormick learned about themover 50 years ago while working with his father at several construction sites. A hard-working survivor of the Great Depression, John, Sr. spent his days working as a machinist in Titusville, PA. At night, he worked to remodel investment properties he owned, passing along his knowledge and skills to his son.

In 1979, John completed construction on his first house in Erie, PA. Longing to escape the brutal winters, he and his wife Sandra moved south shortly thereafter and founded their building company.

With over 30 years of experience in building, remodeling and developing, John boasts an extensive resume. His projects include more than 100 single family houses, over 150 townhouse/duplex units, several commercial buildings, leasehold improvements and the development of several hundred lots. Among his remodeling projects are a second-story addition, porches and sun rooms, basement finishing and kitchens and baths. Projects range from small starter houses to expansive custom homes.
